Pastor Tracey Day

My name is Tracey Day. I have been a pastor since 1999 and Penycae is my second church. People often say I don't seem like a 'vicar' and I take it as a compliment. I love to make church a real place where real people can discover a real relationship with a real God. I love reading, art and craft, cooking and chocolate. I am glad to be part of a church that believes in making a difference in the community and comes alongside people to do just that. In an ever more complicated world I try to bring the simple message that God's love and faithfulness are foundations that our lives can be built upon and the Christian messages of hope and faith are still as relevant today as they ever were. From school assemblies to Community committee meetings Jesus is the heart of what keeps me going!  I am married to David who is laid back enough to keep me firmly grounded, and I have three children and four wonderful grandchildren.

Keefe Owen

Hi! My name is Keefe Owen and I’m the Church ‘Missioner’. This means that I am involved in all sorts ofthings, from outreach to youth work and anything in-between! I love adventure and believe with all my heart that the Christian life is the best adventure any human being could have. I am married to my childhood sweetheart Faith and we have three lovely children, Abigail, Reuben and Josiah. Some facts you might not know about me... When I was a teenager

my family drove a horse and  cart instead of a car, I was once sponsored to race mountain bikes, I have an aeroplane pilots licence though

I haven’t flown for a while, I keep ducks in my back garden and I have a passion to see the power of God’s word combined with the power of God’s Spirit in people’s lives. If you see me riding around Penycae on my bright red unicycle, please stop me to say hello as I love to chat!
